Vessels Announce European Tour

Vessels

Vessels have announced a European tour with Oceansize this autumn. The Leeds-based band will join Oceansize for 24 shows throughout mainland Europe and then will return to the UK for a set of headline shows where they will be be previewing music from their second album, due for release in early 2011. More information on this soon!

The UK shows will see Brighton’s Stuart Warwick (Jacob’s Stories) as support, with Humanfly also joining the bill for the London show at The Black Heart on Thursday 17 November. The hometown show takes place at the Brudenell Social Club, a fringe event of the Constellations festival (Broken Social Scene, Four Tet).

Vessels Play In A Toilet

Vessels recorded a semi-acoustic version of ‘Altered Beast‘ from debut album White Fields and Open Devices whilst on tour with Oceansize in January. However, the session wasn’t your usual back of the cab, bandstand or busking session. No, it was in a lavatory at the bottom of the Academy venue in Manchester as part of Rock Sound’s ‘The Toilet Circuit’. Here’s the vid, enjoy!

Vessels Announce UK/European Tour Dates

Vessels have announced a set of dates in the UK and beyond this spring to road test new tunes from their second album, which the band have nearly finished writing. The tour includes the band’s second foray onto mainland Europe for a festival in Luxembourg and appearances at the Locomotiva festival (London) and Live At Leeds.

Vessels Tour With Oceansize Rescheduled
