New Vessels video - A Hundred Times in Every Direction (13th December 2008)
A new video has been made for 'A Hundred Times in Every Direction', taken from White Fields and Open Devices, which was released in August. The stunning video, made by Aurora Fearnley, was shot using an ultra-slow motion camera, some cake and some water bombs.

Meanwhile, Lee Malcolm from Vessels recently took part in The Place Prize, a dance choreography competition. Malcolm's role in Dam Van Huynh's team was to write and play the soundtrack live, much of which was improvised. The team were pipped at the final hurdle by Adam Linder, but managed to scoop £10,000 winnings in total.

Vessels tour to promote album (26th July 2008)
Vessels have announced their first tour dates after the release of their debut album, White Fields and Open Devices, which comes out on 18th August. The quintet from Leeds will play a warm up to their performance at Bestival with a show at the Buffalo Bar in London on 3rd September. The homecoming will act as an album launch on Saturday 13th September. October will see the rock band tour their explosive set more extensively, full details can be seen below (more dates to follow...).

Vessels, White Fields and Open Devices to be released Aug 18th (14th June 2008)
The debut album by Vessels, White Fields and Open Devices, will be released on 18th August 2008. The album was recorded in Pachyderm Studio, Minnesota with the producer John Congleton (Explosions In The Sky, Black Mountain).
